John Lichter has invested most of his carreer in starting, operating, buying and selling small businesses.
After graduating form WVU in 1981, he started A Whitewater Outdoor Center on the Youghiogheny River in in Pennsylvania called Riversport. After selling Riversport in 1987, he moved to Orlando Florida and trained to become a Business Broker with Business Brokers of America. He led an office of 12 agents in his first year before starting Business Acquisition Team, Inc. a, first of its kind, single agency brokerage solely representing business buyers. After becoming familiar with the direct mail marketing industry, The US Postal Service, and the transprotation industry, he started a Company called Postal Delivery System, Inc. to drop ship mail and parcels to post offices. After selling the business, he moved back to Pittsburgh, PA in 2001. He gained valuable experience as Coordinator of the Institute of Advanced Technology at the Comunity College of Allegheny County and bi-lingual customer Service Agent with National City Home Loan Services prior to returning to the field of Business Brokerage with Sunbelt of Pittsburgh. His mission is to put together a team of competent professionals to assist clients in their efforts to buy or sell small to mid sized businesses.

Have sold medical billing and coding service businesses. restaurants, coin laundries, retail stores. Has personal experience in transportation, manufacturing, direct marketing, recreation and travel.
